It's been a day and - as much as she loves her fellow Marines (and she does) - Trudy really isn't in the mood to hang out in the barracks common-room. So, Milliways it is, and a couch in front of the fire, which she has claimed. She might only be 5'4, but she has a cat's knack for spreading out and claiming whatever piece of furniture has caught her fancy.
She might move her feet, but only to allow another person to sit down with at least one of her feet on their lap.
