[OOM: To find the snitch...]

Angelina enters the bar wearing quidditch robes with the Hogwarts crest emblazoned on the back and playing with a small golden Snitch. She's rather surprised to find that her living room has become Milliways and she fumbles the snitch which takes the opportunity to escape from her and fly off to the bar.

"Bugger!" she

Carlotta sees the woman lose the strange flying ball from her position on the rafters.

"Do you want me to get that?" she calls down.

Angelina looks up to fins the source of the voice, shaking her head and waving her hand to say no.

"Don't bother, I'll never keep hold it while I'm here. I'll use a spell to find it later.

Thanks though."

Carlotta is about to jump down, when the snitch flies close. She leaps off the beam, catches it, bounces on a sofa, forward flips and lands next to Angelina.

"Sorry, couldn't resist." she says. "Queer little thing, what is it?"

Angelia raises an eyebrow at the move.

"Very impressive. It's called a Snitch."

[fiery_ring]

"Thanks." Carlotta says. "Does it tell tales on people?"

[capt_angie]

"No, it's a ball for a game called Quidditch," she explains.

"The game doesn't end until someone catches the Snitch."

[fiery_ring]

Carlotta sits down, looking at its delicate little wings.

"Sort of like hide and seek?"

[capt_angie]

"Um... the snitch part of the game, yes, sort of..." she says thoughtfully.

"There's more to it than just catching the snitch though. Other team members try and score goals with a different ball and beaters try and stop them from scoring by hitting two other balls at them.

It's a really complicated game."

"It sounds it." Carlotta says. "More than lacrosse. I'm Carlotta by the way."

She looks at the ball.

"I'm not hurting it am I?"

[capt_angie]

"Nice to meet you Carlotta, I'm Angie."

She smiles at the girl and offer her a hand to shake.

"No, I shouldn't think so. It's not alive, just charmed."

[fiery_ring]

Carlotta shakes with her free hand and smiles back.

"It's rather cute." she says. "Does it need a little cage?"

[capt_angie]

"No, if you pass it here I can turn it off," she says holding out her hand for the snitch.

"Unless you'd rather just let it fly about."

[fiery_ring]

Carlotta passes it over.

"I might not catch it next time." she admits. "I don't know how it works."

Angelina takes her wand out of her pocket and presses the tip to the snitch, muttering a very simple and easy counter charm to turn the snitch off. It's wings stop beating and it lies still in her hand.

"There. Now it can't get away again," she says slipping it and her wand back into her pocket.

[fiery_ring]

"Magic looks like such fun." Carlotta says, with a grin. "We don't have it at home."

"You might," she shrugs. "We keep it secret from the non-magical community. Muggles we call them."
