There's an Atton, with a computer, in the bar. The computer is displaying various holographic maps, listings, and other documents, which he's examining.

There's a sword propped up next to him, although the slightly ragged, wire-tangled appearance would suggest that it's also another weapon prototype which he was meaning to test.

Botherable.

Fett raises an eyebrow at the tangle of wires and whatnot that Atton has on hand.

"Working on anything special?"

"Trying to pack as much weapons technology as possible into one sword. Am currently researching practical applications of a code from another world which can distort space-time."

"A code which can distort space-time? You mean you can't do that yourself?"

No, Fett knows that Atton probably can't, ut he's still going to give him a hard time about it.

Atton considers this, then shoves Fett.

"I think you should wear a hat. Wear a hat from now on."

Fett looks at Atton like the latter has, well, slipped a mental disc or something. "You prefer me with my helmet?" Smirk. "Or you just want an excuse to step outside?"

Fett doesn't really care which, but if it's the latter, he'll be more than happy for the challenge. Nice way to spend an afternoon, if you ask him.

Atton tilts his head.

"Are hats an excuse for fighting now? I didn't know this. I'll tell Will." Beat. "Why, do you want to step outside?"

Fett shrugs. "I'm always up for it if you are. You should know that by now. Not like I get good practice on anyone else here."

"Try Urquhart, sometime. I've never thought him, but he's very big, and very confident. But sure, I'm up for beating you into the ground again." Bright grin. "We can go outside, or use the sparring ring on my ship."

"Your pick." Fett grins right back. He's up for either option.

"The sparring ring'll let me kick you about more - ropes and all, they're bouncy. We should put stakes on it, though. I'll go put these prototypes away, you think about that."

He shuts down the computer, then grabs it and the sword and heads upstairs, leaving his drink behind.

Fett grins, and sits down to kick back while Atton heads upstairs. It's not a bad idea he has for tweaking the ring, and he's quite looking forward to this. It has been a while.

Atton returns after a moment, changed into a t-shirt and a pair of shorts, with wrappings around his hands. He tosses some wraps to Fett. "Here, wrap them. Means you can punch harder without breaking your poor delicate hand bones."

Grinning at Fett, he heads towards the door, holding it open for him.

"Thanks." It's half-sarcastic, half-genuine. He doesn't mind not getting cuts and whatnot on his hand, but the idea that he needs them strikes him as a bit condescending.

Fett follows Atton out the door, wrapping his hands as he goes along (if for no other reason than so he doesn't have to worry about it when he gets there).

Atton does these things on purpose.

"Okay," he says, once they're through. "A few modifications to the ring to make it more interesting. Any ideas?"

Shrug. "You could always shut off the gravity." It's more of a whimsical thought than anything, but it does jump to mind.

Atton grins. "Another time. For now, I'll just increase the bounce on the ropes." He shucks off his t-shirt, draping it over Fett's head, and then steps up onto the raised platform in the centre, hitting a button that causes long ropes of orange energy to form between the pillars. There's one side left open for Fett to get up. "Loser pays out, let's say, eight-thousand credits to the winner?"
