Will walks outside, because he's tired and bruised, the hunters are coming back and stops when he sees Jack,

Her smile when she sees Jack is bright and friendly.
"Good call," she approves, of the bottle.

Is it something she said? Is it her hair?
"That's true," she agrees cautiously. Normally she wouldn't bother investigating, but there are an awful lot of reasons for strangers to dislike her these days (if they know a few of her friends).
"... Sorry if this seems-- nosy," she says.
"Are you okay?"

"I take it if I say I'm fine, it won't be very convincing," he says, that smile turning a little wry. Sitting outside and drinking generally isn't something someone who's just fine does. "I'm Jack, by the way."

He's noticed the girl sitting on the rock, and he glances over again as he refills his glass. She doesn't seem like a threat, but it's hard to turn off the instinct to watch anyone around him, especially at night.
