Someone's watching over Romana's shoulder.

Said 'someone' is nine feet tall, made of metal, and has one glowing red eye.

"It is considered good manners," Romana reminds her new observer, in an absent-minded tone, "To respect a certain amount of personal distance."

Moop wrrr... says the robot contritely, taking a step back.

The Gallifreyan nods, and goes back to digging through the insides of her doggy companion. It's good to know some robots have manners, forgotten though they may be.

After a moment, the robot lumbers, loudly (D0G rarely does anything quietly), to the far side of the table in order to get a better view of K9.

Tragically, she isn't much used to conversing with robots, at least not to more than a couple select models, and really, one shouldn't call it 'conversing' - it's almost more like 'musing aloud to'.

So she doesn't.

It just doesn't occur to her.

And, alas, this particular robot can't speak, unless he starts stomping out Morse code.

Instead, he points one massive finger at K9's exposed circuits with a curious Woop?

Romana looks around for someone the robot might belong to. Honestly, is it so much to ask that people program their machines properly?

The owner of the robot is currently seated over by the fireplace with an English-to-Spanish dictionary. She has not taken any notice of Romana yet.

Not seeing anyone actively taking an interest in the robot, Romana reaches for her sonic screwdriver.

If no one is going to take responsibility for their toys, she'll take responsibility for them.

Wrrrp? The robot cants his head to one side. What is this woman doing with the little metal thing?

Mostly? Ratcheting up through available frequencies until she finds the one that will signal the robot to back off a fair bit. She doesn't much approve being hovered over.

The robot lets out an irritated squawk and backs away, the flaps around its eye flattening against its 'head.'

The screwdriver's hum shuts down once she's put the 'bot out of grabbing range, and she goes back to her work.

The robot makes an affronted noise, then flounces off. Inasmuch as a nine-foot-tall walking junkyard can flounce.
