She is soon set upon by a skirted, bloused, and jacketed Ava (Bela may recognize the jacket). She's fresh from work and still wearing her silver headband, but made a beeline for Bela as soon as she saw her.
Some things just can't wait. And, since Buffy's not talkable-to and Elle is who even knows where and fuck if she's talking to TROWA about something this sensitive--
"It's for a job. Initial research, but so far, it's promising. Want to join me a while? Time's not passing on the other side, so I've got a little to spend."

"What's all this?" Kate asks, swaggering up to Bela's booth from behind her.
She bends over one of the dusty books, and blows.
