There are a lot of upsides to a Devil's Gate opening.
The downside, at least if you're Verity, is that suddenly there are all these other demons running around on the planet, interrupting things, cutting loose, and wanting to talk shop whenever she runs into one of them.
It is nice to get away for an evening.
So, over in a booth is a brunette (she picked this one up in Philadephia), with a black dress (that Miss Philadephia picked up in New York).
She's watching the comings and goings of the bar with amused brown eyes.
