The onset of spring has Ella in a fairly good mood. She's been spending her time quietly, doing this and that, mainly polishing up on her reading and arithmetic, not to mention general pop culture. While personable, she has never been the most social of people, and the quiet routine that she's settled into suits her fine.

(She still longs for adventure, longs for something beyond this bar. It's becoming like her old life, in a way. She enjoys the variety that this place provides her, but she has never been content in being limited to a space. It is only now beginning to get to her.)

Out on the docks, she sits with her feet in the water, a small book held in her lap as she dangles her legs over the edge of the dock. She hums as she reads, the picture of contentment for the time being.
