She gets this face.

"Does it look like it?"

"You're wearing, like, Tim Drake clothes," Steph points out, grinning. She helps herself to a seat on his table.

"... nnnnevermind." Steph has the giggles even more now. "I always forget you're from a different universe."

"So what've you been up to?"

"Oh, you know." Steph wiggles an eyebrow at him. "The usual. If you know what I mean, and I think you do."

"So late-night kitchen popcorn raids and glittery pen grafitti?"

"Sometimes both at the same time," she says gravely.

"You rebel, you," he says, deadpan-face intact.

"Oh, yeah, things get wild around here," Steph says. "Sometimes, you know, I even get two colours of glitter ... at the same time."

There are giggles. Steph slides over and flops into the seat instead of the table, waving energetically at a waitrat. "One day I'll let you come on a glitter raid, if you're very good."
