Life here at the bar is very different from Ichigo's normal life back home. There's no crazy family to deal with, no school to bore him and no Hollows to kill. His sword gathers dust in his room and half the time he forgets he's a spirit. His usual pastimes (training, killing Hollows and studying) have all been taken from him and replaced with a fat lot of nothing. In short, Ichigo has a lot of time on his hands and not much to do. A trip to the gym, followed by a stop off at the library, and Ichigo finds himself back where he does every day: the bar.
"Water and a sandwich," he says, laying his book down on the bartop. "Thanks."
With a weary sigh, Ichigo looks around for a familiar face, finds none, and flips open his new book. Another exciting day Bound in Milliways.
