So a dog walks into a bar.
Well, more like bounds into a bar, through a door that's a little smaller and square-er, and - well - a lot more dog-door shaped than most of the doors at Milliways. He's probably something like a Golden Retriever mix, all curly hair and a tail that could probably be used to power a generator. It could be worth noting that the collar he's wearing isn't exactly a normal dog collar, since it appears to have some small dials and buttons added, along with what could very possibly be a small radio attached to the back.
And of course, in deference to the universal laws of humor, when this dog walks into the bar, he says "Ouch!" And mostly that's because he just ran straight into the side of a booth that was definitely not on the other side of his door a minute ago, but maybe the weird thing is that he said anything at all.
Of course, if anyone's wondering if they just heard that dog talk, they don't have to wonder much longer. Because the dog's suddenly noticed that this isn't the pantry on the airship.
"Oh, wow," he says. Or rather, he seems to say, because his mouth doesn't move except to pant happily, but there is definitely a voice coming from him. "This is a new place. My master has given me a new place! I wonder what this is." There's a brief flurry of sniffing. "It smells like...a place with food. I will find the food!"
If there's a large and suspiciously wet nose coming a little too near any of your plates, Milliways patrons, well...try not to be alarmed?
