They are speaking very different version of English, yes.

Enzo is technically speaking a combination of English keywords, mathematical operators, and lots of quotes and brackets. So that'd be true anyway.

"Yeah, she's half-ghost, half-human. Don't ask me how that works, but it does, and it gives her majorly awesome powers. She can even enter my world when she's in ghost form."

Enzo laughs at Luke's save. "Thanks. Sorry I can't explain. I could tell you what she does, and what the ghosts're like, but not, like, the actual ectophysics. That's her parents' function, and hardly anyone can understand them."
