Enzo comes in this evening with arms and back aching from Game Simulations class.

If ever there was evidence that Users design Games with a screen in mind, and not the real experience, block-pushing puzzles are it.

Well, someone looks sore, and Bonzo does note the look of soreness on Enzo. It's not unfamiliar from old Battle Room practices.

"You ok, Enzo?"

Enzo tries to look dignified. "I'm totally alphanumeric."

The slight wince would seem to belie this.

So would personal experience.

"So was I when I came out of Battle Room practice the first time." i.e. 'Riiight....' "So, what were you doing that left you so sore?"

"Game simulation. You know how I've told you a lot of things make more sense since I know our Users don't know about us?"

"You look worn out," Annabelle calls when she sees Enzo come in.

"Oh, I'm all right," says Enzo, turning a grimace and a rub of his arm into a stretch.

Have we mentioned before that he's a lousy actor?

No, but Annabelle is certainly getting that impression at the moment. "Oh, really?" Annabelle asks with a skeptical expression and tone.

"Could have fooled me, what with all that grimacing."

Enzo winces in mid-stretch, scowls, and gives up. He has very few illusions about his own prevarication abilities.

"Crate-pushing puzzle in Game Simulations today. Full size. I can handle it," he maintains firmly, "but it's still a pain."
