Castiel appears in the Bar.

Possibly right into your personal space.

"Ooh," says a fairy bedecked in tinsel, fluttering his lashes.

"Good grant thee good even."

The tinsel is momentarily distracting. But Castiel quickly collects himself, and politely inclines his head.

"And to you," he says, formally.

"You I have met before," Puck says, cheerily, "but I am afraid your name escapes me."

The tinsel is very shiny. Even by tinsel standards.

(Puck probably helped it along a little bit.)

"It is a danger in Milliways. There are so many people to meet."

And when you've spent two thousand years interacting with the same crowd, Milliways offers many new people indeed.

"It is Castiel. My name."

The tinsel is extremely shiny. Castiel has seen some interesting clothing trends over the course of the centuries, but most are not quite this...

...dazzling.

"Castiel," Puck repeats, sounding enlightened.

He grins.

"Enchanted. Should you care for any?"

He picks at a strand of tinsel of a bright strawberry pink.

"I have more than enough to go 'round, and they do say 'tis the season."

Castiel (quickly) shakes his head.

"I have no need of any," he says.

He looks a little confused.

"This is, for many a season of festivals. Holy days."

This he knows.

"I am not aware of customs by which people bedeck themselves, though."

"Are you not?"

This fellow is either a simpleton or merely very, very green. Puck is perfectly all right with either one.

"There are a great many customs you shall be made aware of here, if you stay any long while." He laughs. "I suppose I may forgive you for an ignorance of this one-- these are no candles, nor I any young girl."

Castiel takes a long moment to process this.

"Are you meant to be?" he finally ventures.

Puck blinks.

"Probably not," he says, after a moment.

"Not anatomically, at least-- wigs are another matter."

Castiel seems to brighten a bit, in understanding.

"So, you would masquerade as a woman?"

There's no judgment or surprise. After all, it had been a common practice in ancient societies, particularly in the theaters; women on stage had not been considered proper.

"Absolutely," Puck agrees, and brightens a little himself.

He's getting through!

Er.

Wait.
