Back from an extended stay at Demeter's house in Provence with Boo and Bill, Kate's sitting at the bar tonight, a glass of iced coffee near one elbow and a
wooden box in front of her.
The box is beautiful in its simplicity, as is the watch housed inside.
Smiling to herself (and more than a little awed at Weyland's skill, because it's everything she tried to ask for but wasn't sure she
articulated), she requests a piece of paper and a pen.
Weyland --
It's perfect. I can't thank you enough for what you've done.
-- Kate Warner
She leaves the note with Bar, along with a generous payment for Weyland's commission, and sips at her coffee, people-watching and casting occasional glances toward the Front Door and the Observation Window.
