Mia's family, being mostly Vanetian or British, does not celebrate America's Thanksgiving. All she really knows is that it's about time for her to get started on Christmas shopping and that there are a lot of people on her list.
So she's surprised when, after taking a careful seat at the bar, she's presented with a hearty bowl of turkey soup with a side of twice baked stuffing to crumble on top without her asking for anything. But her stomach and the baby are reminding her that she is quite hungry and it wouldn't be a good idea to compose a Christmas list hungry, unless everyone really does want assortments of Christmas cookies, cheese gift baskets, summer sausage, and their kin.
So there's a 27 weeks pregnant Guildmaster having a nice lunch and writing up a proper Christmas list of gifts and recipients.
