The door opens and a strong smell of turkey and pie cooking wafts into the bar. There's no one standing in the entrance though, just a ball bouncing through and then, a beat later, the sound of a boy running after it, calling out something loudly (it sounds a little bit like a battle cry, but a happy one ( Read more... )

His inital reaction is to say 'No' like duh, of course not. Buuuut...he's just seen the window and is suddenly feeling pretty damn small and alone. So he looks over to the older boy and just nods.

Well, it is the natural question to ask someone who looks like he does.

"First time here, huh?"

Albus (who isn't quite Albus at the moment) likes to think he knows this place pretty well.

"It's called Milliways. Bar at the end of the universe."

Totally natural. Jesse's just normally quite a confident kid and he doesn't like being thrown out of his comfort zone like this.

'I was in the kitchen,' he says, by way of explaining yep, never been here before.

'I'm not supposed to go to new places by myself.'

[OOC: Not at all! :D]

'Um. I don't know.'

He looks around, trying to find her. He saw her go through that door; he'd been following in order to try and beg an early piece of pie off her. But he can't see her.

'She went into the kitchen. And I followed but now I'm here.'

Sam doesn't know why lately there seem to be a lot of children in the Bar, at least this one has a ball and not a gun.

Though he's probably not that reassuring since he looks rather medieval with his linen shirt that still have the soot from the forge on it and his linen breeches and high boots,

"She's probably not here."

He's certainly a little bit intimidating. Jesse blinks and looks around once again in hope.

'She was in the kitchen. It's Thanksgiving.'

"I'm not sure what that is but Milliways tends to appear where it wants to. Do you see the door you came through?"

He turns around to check and looks back at the man with a nod.

'Yeah, I see it. What's Milliways?'
