Guppy leaves a note for infirmary staff and Mike.
'Dear Infirmary Staff,
In case any of you are unaware, there is an unusual strain of influenza going around the bar. I have managed to isolate the virus, which does not appear to match any strain known by the system. It seems to be Tamiflu-sensitive.
It does not appear to be a particularly deadly strain, however there seems to be an unusual hallucinogenic componant. One patient has already attacked me thinking I was something else so please approach with caution.
If you have any more information on how to treat this, other than how regular flu is treated, please send around a memo. The infirmary is fully stocked with Tamiflu, but that may not be necessary - please read the guidelines for use if required.
Dr Guppy Sandhu'
'Mike,
In case you haven't seen, there seems to be an unusual hallucinogenic strain of flu around. The situation doesn't appear to be imminently dangerous but I thought you would want to know. Will keep you posted on any developments. Try not to catch it; if you do and you need me, I'll be around.
Guppy'
He settles next to the bar, going through the test results from the virus sample he got from Teja. Wondering where it came from, what's causing the hallucinations.
The bar offers him an apple, a banana, a cupcake and a glass of orange juice in succession. He fails to notice any of them.
