Sitting at a table reading business magazines while drinking tea [coffee is for mornings-this is mid-afternoon, folks] is a pair of mirror-twin brothers in equally-mirrored business suits. Casually turning pages and taking sips from their teacups.
Or, so they'd like everyone else in the vicinity to believe.
What they're actually doing is conducting a silent conversation regarding events at home. Things like what their various agents in the field are doing, the reports that are being sent in, as well as who they next plan to recruit into the Crimson Guard [they have several candidates in mind]. The fact that they've read every article in these periodicals at least three times already [before coming here-these magazines are from their world, after all], makes it easy to do so. They can maintain the facade of being your typical businessmen while doing very un-businesslike things, and, if you ask them what they're reading and what it's about, they can give you a truthful answer.
It just won't be the answer to the question you asked.
