Full Moon!

Nov 02, 2009 14:56

Jason is out in his clearing, working through some handstands and flips while he waits for Moon's call. He's not particularly excited about shifting for the second time in as many days, but he's come to look forward to hearing Moon's call.

The hunt will begin shortly, and all are welcome!

George was a little more prepared this time. He had his full moon supplies ready to go. And he was slightly more comfortable now. (Mostly since he learned that being close to the moon does have a upside for intimate affairs. He just hoped Nina wouldn't be expecting it all the time however.)

"Evening Jason." His senses were pretty sharp already, being this close to changing.

Jason grins. "Hey George. Good to see you. Ready for a run?"

He wipes the sweat from his forehead: he's flushed from the workout but also from the need to shift.

He held up a hand. It was close, he could feel things wanting to shift, to break out.

"Almost." He then hurried off to a grouping of trees where he could strip down before the change would tear the fabric off of him.

Moments later screams could be heard as his body started to change.

Jason winces when he hears the screams, but it's George's change and it would be rude to intrude on it. Instead he quietly strips down, tucks his clothes in the rock face, and calls his own beast.

It doesn't hurt as much as he can imagine George's must, and it sure does't hurt as much as when it's forced on him, but there's still some pain involved. When it's over, he shakes the moisture from his fur and stretches, trying to soothe the aches as he waits for George.

It is agony, it is quick as his heart stops only to start moments later, and finally the vocal cords are stretched, silencing the screams. Moments later, the voice is now a howl. The large hulking werewolf shook himself off, and jogged up, ready for the hunt.

Jason trots forward huffing a greeting. ""Ready? Do you want Pack strategy or just try for our own takedowns?"

He'd hunted once with George utilizing the Pack, but with two of them he'll leave it up to him.

He considered it, idly scratching an itch on his side. Most of the time he had been by himself, and the Pack last time was a good change. It felt more right.

Pack. He whuffed in agreement.

Jason turns his head in the direction he can smell the faint scent of deer. ""Alright. I will get them running and you head them off.""

It was the same tactic they'd used in the hunt last time, so Jason is comfortable letting him try it solo. And he could use a good chase.

""Meet you in the middle."" He turns and trots out of the clearing towards the deer.
