Sam still smelltastes the same. His (now blonde) girlfriend is staring at him. She is wearing her red-and-black-and-gold boots, and a black minidress with a gold snake around an arm.

Then suddenly she smirks.

"Nice trousers."

"Shut up, you," Sam says, but affectionately.

...Huh. Is it him, or is his girlfriend shorter than usual?

He is, however, somewhat more interested in what she's wearing.

"But they are nice!"

"You're a terrible liar, Beautiful," he informs her, smiling in spite of himself.

"Luckily, I love you anyway."

"Mmm, yes. Yes, I am." She glances down at her boots. "Although you are worryingly fond of these, too."

"Your legs?" Sam asks, impish, sliding a hand down one of her hips. "Most definitely."

"I meant the boots. But legs are good."

"Yes," Sam says firmly, running his hand further down. "Yes, they definitely are."

But perhaps, not as far down as he is used to.

Medusa fixes him with a long, almost suspicious look.

"You're tall."

"...You may be right." Sam pauses, thoughtfully - though it's worth noticing that his hands don't leave her legs.

"You're not."

"No," she says, raising her eyebrows. "No, I am not. Why are you tall?"

"This is a very good question."

He thinks about this for a few moments.

"Maybe it's to do with the costume? I think fairytale princes are all meant to be tall."

"Tall, dark and handsome?"

She leans up, and kisses his jaw. "Does this mean you have to behave yourself?"

"Something like that."

He leans down to kiss her, incidentally bringing more of her legs within reach of his hands.

"And what do you think?"

Meda is a smart girl. She'll figure it out.

"I think it depends on the fairytale."

It's a short skirt, but tall boots, and although Medusa has the lovely legs of a Greek statue, she's short enough that her legs really aren't that long. Still, she doesn't mind his hands. Oh, no, she does not.

Her legs are plenty long enough for Sam's liking, that's for sure. But then, they always will be so long as they belong to her.
