"You are not wearing your usual flying clothes," Teja states to Lorne, walking up to the bar, as he wishes for a drink himself, after that film he had seen.

Lorne smiles over at Teja. "Nope," he says. "I think it's Halloween here. Bar picked my costume for me."

[ostro_goth]

"That is a Halloween costume?" Teja asks, ordering wine. "It does not look strange enough!"

[callmemajor]

"Yeah, that's what I thought," Lorne says, taking a sip of his beer. "But apparently I'm a dead ringer for some guy called Joe Kavanaugh."

[ostro_goth]

"And that is whose clothes you wear?" Teja asks. "That is not much of a disguise!"

"I guess so," Lorne says. "I mean...I've never met the guy. And yeah, not a great costume, but I'm not complaining."

[ostro_goth]

"No," Teja says. "It is nothing, compared to the shape I was made to wear last year."

[callmemajor]

"Yeah? What'd you end up in last year?"

[ostro_goth]

"I was given a plain face with an ugly moustache," Teja says, "and then, I was made to wear some flimsy theatre armour. I know not to this day what it was all about."

Lorne chuckles. "I'm not sure I know either, except an excuse for kids to get candy and adults to dress up as something ridiculous."

[ostro_goth]

"I would rather not wear a ridiculous moustache again," Teja says.

[callmemajor]

"I think Bar has a pretty good feel for when it's one prank too far."

[ostro_goth]

"She did not try anything with me this year," Teja says. "Yet."

[callmemajor]

"Maybe you'll luck out," he says. "I think I kinda did."

After all, he's not even missing his sidearm. It's just moved.
