When Mary Anne takes a seat at the bar, she is presented with a glass of tequila and a book entitled The Care and Keeping of Exotic Plants. She can't help laughing and pages through the table of contents while she sips her drink.
Artemis, on the other hand, is sprawled on one of the couches. It's autumn now, with Kore gone to be Persephone and the weather turning colder. She's thinking about moving somewhere closer to home for the winter. Until then, there are sinfully comfortable cushions and a bottle of hard cider.
