Light is sitting at the bar, his arm still in a sling, eating a packet of barbacue flavour crisps.

He watches the patrons, seeing what kind of people come here, and whether or not they come close to falling down the hole.

Alucard doesn't fall down the hole though he barely seems to notice it. What he does notice is the boy sitting at the bar. He matches the description Rem gave him.

Walking over he orders a glass of blood which appears before him. "Good Evening" he greets the young man.

"Good evening."

A glass of blood would suggest another sort of monster, perhaps a vampire. Probably not another shinigami, but could be connected. His posture remains the same, but he is on his guard.

He smiles.

"Interesting choice of drink."

"It sustains me." it's as simple as that.

"I am Alucard." he offers the boy amused by the whole situation as he takes a sip of the blood.

[OOC: have to run for a meeting but wanted to start the thread. Alucard has been yelling at me to have a chat with Light.]

"Light Yagami, it is a pleasure to meet you Alucard-san." Light says, offering a hand to shake.

"Are you a vampire?"

Alucard accepts the offered hand and shakes it.

"That I am" he smiles, "And how about you?"

"I'm human, just your average high school student." Light says, with a laugh.

"Are you?" he doesn't seem to belive the boy, "And what will you do with yourself once you have left school?"

[moon_kanji]

"All right, your average highly exceptional high school student." Light admits. "I intend to enter university and then go into the police force."

[hellsingsdog]

"We just recruited someone to the Hellsing Orginization from the police force." he muses.

"Why do you want to join the police force?"

[moon_kanji]

"What's the Hellsing Organisation?"

A small smile.

"I want to be a champion for justice, like my father."

[hellsingsdog]

"The Hellsing Organization takes out the garbage." he says with a wicked grin, "The scum that think they are more then dirt on my shoe."

Alucard grins, "I wanted to be a champion for justice...for god when I was a boy." he laughs, "And I ended up becoming a monster instead." there is nothing in his tone to indicate that he regrets this or to indicate that he wants to deter the young man from following his chosen path.

"So you are a vigilante organisation?" Light asks. "Or do you mean being a vampire?"

[hellsingsdog]

"The Hellsing Organization is a vigilant one." he tries to answer the boys question. "What I am is a true monster who has become the dog of the Hellsing Organization. They use me to extinguish other monsters. Those that the police and armed forces are unable to deal with."

[moon_kanji]

"Sometimes that is necessary." Light says. "It is admirable that you fight for the cause."

[hellsingsdog]

"I do as my Master commands." it's really that simple.

[moon_kanji]

"Is your Master a vampire too?"
