One Crow, sitting crosslegged on a table, with enough room to play around with cards. Right now he's just screwing around with them, not doing anything and variably losing games of Blackjack to Kuu, the real crow around here.

...don't ask how a bird knows what to do. We don't either.

"Thirty bucks," Ikki grumbles, and gives Akito a less quick kiss in return. "Not that I know what he does with any of it."

Do the animals go on dates or something? Goddamn.

"Goddamn bird knows all my tricks," Ikki mutters. "Just upgraded some of 'em too."

He may be able to collect a good thousand or two in a week on a street run, but apparently the bird was out to strip him of all of it.

"He probably is. But he also tries to pay me per homework page studied, forgetting it was my money in the first place."
