Ramon is lounging in a booth, dressed casually in jeans and a white shirt. There's a bottle in front of him and he has an air of general satisfaction with life.
Which isn't to say that if you're one of two certain people, his mood won't flick like a switch. But it does mean that anyone else is reasonably assured of civility at the least.

Saffron (or so she thinks, at least) isn't one of those two people.
She leans over the other end of the booth, grinning at him.

She takes a sip of her drink.

But hey, it's not her fault.
'What've you been doing?'
Reply
She sets the glass down on the table, swirling it around.
"Dealing with some changes."
When she looks up again, there's a different kind of intensity in her gaze.

'What sort of changes?'

A pause, a look of concentration, and when she tucks a few red strands of hair behind her ear, they're different.
A little fuzzy. And slightly pointed.

Oh, Ramon, she can't wait to tell you about the magic.
