Nikola's a little...rumpled when he comes into the bar tonight. His tie's askew, his face smudged, his hair...okay, his hair is just as spiky as usual

Looking up from the bar floor where he had been putting on a 'Look at me! I am hopelessly confused!' show for the bar's patrons, Evil Chicken saw a familiar human(as far as he knows) and his bloody hand.
Might have as well covered that hand in delicious steak sauce, Tesla.
He abandoned his sack of stuff on the floor and flew up onto the bar where he could better get Nikola's attention.
"Hello again, Nikola Tesla, right? That blood isn't coming from you, is it?"
"So, do your conflict resolution methods usually involve bloodletting?"
Hey, it's not like pointless murder is uncommon in Evil Chicken's world but he knows enough about the 'rules' of other worlds to know that his world is a 'special' place.
Van Helsing. A reference that goes way over Evil Chicken's head.
"What, an experimenter, an inventor, an intellectual?" Nikola did say he came from a world full of idiots, didn't he?
[OOC: sorry, go lost looking up what the canon had to say about vampires. No Van Helsing, but the vampire related parts of the canon are involved in most of the history]
Vampires. He never completely understood why the Chaos God tolerated them as allies. After all, the vampires had set up a nice, orderly kingdom for themselves. No crime, hardly any rebellion, and the humans of Meiyerditch were so compliant about the blood tithe. They also had the most orderly army known. Lord Drakan ruled with an iron fist. Perhaps the fact that he was a powerful ally to have allowed Zamorak to forgive Lord Drakan's perfectly ordered kingdom.
As for Lowerniel Vergidiyad Drakan, it wasn't as if he could ally himself with Saradomin. For Saradomin is a jealous god, and only he may have absolute rule over his subjects. Weak kings are fine, but dictators like Drakan risk his wrath.
"I thought that vampires were a bit more... blood-thirsty," he said motioning towards discarded and neglected bloody handkerchief.

"I should hope not," Nikola says, eyeing his hand speculatively.

"So, were did it come from?" This could still turn out interesting.

Nikola pulls his handkerchief out of his pocket and cleans his fingers.

Nikola tends not to operate by the rules of his world.

"So, I suppose you at least put a temporary stop to the pursuit of his quest?"
Reply
Temporary, permanent...time is relative.

That's one reason to want an experimenter dead. He couldn't think of any others besides hunger, but to mention hunger might be impolite.

[ooc: No worries. There's no real Van Helsing in Nikola's world either. Definitely fictional.]
