Justin is hungover to hell, tired and suffering a bout of teenage angst in a bad mood. He'd totally forgotten that he was down for a shift today, which is why he looks surprised when he finds Milliways at school and then downcast at the idea of working in his state

The playful expression on his face with one finger held curiously to his lips, though? Totally unchanged.
"Hold on, I need to think of a drink with a really great name."

He waves a hand wearily, taking in the boy's appearance.
'Did someone die?'

Math class is not quite the equivalent of a hangover, but Momiji has just sat through it, so he is not as quick on his feet as he might be, otherwise. So, Justin just gets stared at for a second.
"Ooh, I've got it! Can I have an Apple Karate?"
Because omnomnom, carrots.
Reply
He looks up an Apple Karate and wrinkles his nose because ew. But hey, everyone has different tastes.

"Oh! It's my new outfit for school! I just got it about a week ago."
The clothes may be more masculine, but the little twirl he gives, hopping off of his stool to show them off, is not.
"They're not really a great color for me, and the tie's a big headache, but I like'em."

Beat.
'Well. Not always. But for school, yeah.'
That would be a suggestive wink in Momiji's direction.
'What happened to the dress?'
Reply
"I don't own a dress," he fusses, arms folding across his chest. He has not lost his gift for good-natured pouting, either.
"But I kinda outgrew the girl's uniform? It didn't look bad on me or anything this year, but...I think maybe I'm a little too old for it, now."
Momiji says the words "too old for" in a tone very much like Justin's expression, when he was looking up the Apple Karate recipe.

'Momiji. You're growing up.'
He laughs.
'Soon you'll be out getting a job or whatever. And have, I don't know, a mortgage.'
Mortgages are the most grown up thing he can think of right now.
Reply
He means the mortgage bit, not the drink. That, he's sipping with apparent appreciation.
"I hope not. I'm still having trouble remembering to go to my new classes, instead of the ones from last year."
Reply
'You're a senior now, right? Is that what you call it in Japan?'
Reply
He shakes his head, in between sips of his horrifying beverage.
"I'm a...junior, in America, I guess? Or, like, half-junior and half-sophomore or whatever."
Reply
'Year before graduation? Junior then.'
He collapses bonelessly back on to his stool and puts his shin in his hand.
'How's your violin playing going?'
Reply
"Okay, I guess. I'm still practicing."
Then, eying Justin curiously: "Are you okay? You're all wobbly."
Reply
'Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine.'
He grabs a bottle of water and chugs half of it back.
'Just a hangover. I had a crazy night last night.'
Reply
Momiji nods quite gravely.
"And then you had to come work in a bar. Ew."
Reply
'Have you ever had a hangover, Momiji?'
He can't see it.
