There are certain things that are just kind of givens. As examples,
1. People worry about you when you're pregnant.
2. People worry about you when you're the Queen Consort of a small European country.
3. People worry about you when it's only been a handful of months since the biggest breach of security ever to involve the Royal Family.
Amy knows all that.
What Amy didn't know was just how much people worry about you when you are the pregnant Queen Consort of a small European country and it's only been a handful of months since your husband was kidnapped of his own football field by a dragon. (Even though the dragon in question later ate the mastermind of the plot and has since been become a valued and valuable member of Ambergeldan society.)
And while she knows people (mostly) mean well . . . some days, it's all just kind of hard to take.
Which is this evening finds Amy settled in a comfortable chair, with her feet propped up, drinking tea at the end of the universe.
