Captain Jack has been around a week or so. (No really, he has. Timeflow is difficult and his sleeping patterns are existentially challenged.) He's more relaxed than he was when he first appeared, but underlying that, new tension is building. He knows the door will open if he tries it, but he's not sure exactly where to. Immortal or not, floating forever in empty void is not something that appeals to him.

So, basically, he's sitting at a table, procrastinating.
