*Crowley, a frantically protesting Tonks in tow, strolls across the bar and down the staff corridors until he arrives at Bernard's door. He knocks, loudly*
*the wooden floor is starting to get uncomfortable, and Crowley cannot seem to see any wait-rats hanging around. Eventually, he decides to risk nipping back out to the bar for a cup of coffee*
*Aziraphael follows the demon back from the bar, tea in hand, mildly befuddled expression firmly in place*
Er... Crowley? Is there any particular reason you'd like me to sit on the floor? If I've done something wrong then I apologise, but as punishments go this is rather abstract.
Apparently, Tonks and Bernard decided to ring in the New Year in a, uh, most traditional way. Which meant woe and confusion today. And so I decided they should hash it out.
You know I'd do anything not to hurt her, you know that. And I'd love for them to be happy together, more than anything. But... it's like when I do something nice and you get all antsy and glare at me.

We have a... situation.
*he grins unrepentantly*

A situation, no doubt, that you had a hand in?
*he glares, somewhat*

They did? Oh that's marvellous!

And they're not getting out until they think so too.

Manipulative snake.

I try.

Oh dear. You really shouldn't have informed me, you know.

Oh really? Having scheming thoughts, are we?

*he rubs the back of his neck uncomfortably*
Feel rather duty bound to stop it.
*he bites his lip, worried*

If this is about Charlie, you can damn well let her talk this out with Bernard and then make her own decision.

I'm all... itchy.

Alright.
How about this?
I call this one.
You know how it goes - you let me get on with my work, and you get one with yours. This one's mine. For now.

That's really not an auspicious start for them.
Um.
No offense.
