"How's that?" He wondered curiously.

"I exert some influence over peoples' thoughts," she says simply.

"Really? How does that work?" He's been around long enough to believe her, now it was more curious.

She shrugs.

"It's just my job, really. I see the strands of their thoughts, twist them so they run in different directions."

Adds: "If needed."

"So manipulate, or inspire?"

She tilts her head.

"Inspire. It's what I do."
