John walked in with every intention of just sitting down and nursing a beer. They were on their way to send the Leviathan off, to say goodbye, and it was getting harder with every moment they came closer. They had helped John a lot in the past few weeks

"Luuuuuuuuuuuke!!" Amelia bounces from her spot on the bar. John eyes her warily.

"How are you?" She asks, shyly, blinking her wide brown eyes at him.

"I'm all right. How are you?"

"Better than I have been." She shrugs. "This is Mister John, by the way."

John waves from the background, looking every bit the worried parental figure. :P

"Hello, Mister John."

....There is no irony. Just earnest friendliness.

John waves again. "Hey, kid. Can I get you something?"

Amelia tilts her head. "Have you seen Pwincessth Holli lately?"

SOLEMN NOD.

"I've been keeping an eye on her. Can I have chocolate milk?"

"Thank you. I've been a bad mommy to her." Amelia sadfaces as John hands him a glass of chocolate milk, and a smaller one for the five year old.

"'Cause I'm never 'round. An' I bet she doesn't even renember me."

OH GOD HER FACE IS SO SAD.

"That's not true!"

"She misses you!"

"I'll have to come visit, I guess." Amelia says shyly into her chocolate milk.

"Yes."

Amelia bites her lip as she smiles. "Cool. I'll...do that, then."
