This was not how Jasper planned to spend his time. Even at 162-years-old, there are always new things or old favorites to do and, even now, there were things he should be doing. Such as repetitive homework that needs to be done whether he likes it or not, extra credit to make up for his lack of attendance, and, most importantly, admissions essays to finish writing.
Yet, after failing to work the damned iTunes on his laptop yet again (and stubbornly refusing to seek out Alice's help) for background noise, this vampire finds himself simply procrastinating. And what better way to do so than swinging a stick around much like in the way of a baseball bat. Outside, by the lake, and in the shade, of course.
Anyone near enough might even be able to hear his mutterings of 'hitting one out of the park'.
