There is a golden eagle that lands nearby.

"Thank you!"

"You're welcome," says Ironhide. "Lemme guess. Human taking a break for the holiday?"

"Yes!" it says. "And it is a very good thing to have, and a good change to make for a while. I may fly now, for three days, freer than ever before!"

Pause.

"And I would thank you for it!"

"I figured that the first time," says Ironhide dryly. "Lot of humans going for different organic modes, it looks like. You tried out all the functions yet? That one's a predator, if it's anything like the birds with that beak shape near Autobase."

[ostro_goth]

"It is," the eagle said. "I have flown over the lake and the mountains, and hunted demonic rabbits, and eaten their flesh!"

"Hnh. Must've been interesting. Only times I've ever had a stomach, it was configured for eating plants."

"What were you?" the eagle asks.

"Rhinoceros. Big, brown quadruped with a horn on its nose and shaggy red-brown hair growing out of its skin."
