A Wraith looking much like a human is sitting at the bar trying to figure out what to drink. He doesn't know where to begin.

"What would you drink or eat from the Bar here?" he asked the girl next to him.

"That depends," Nikola says, crossing her legs and turning to regard the man next to her, "on a great many things. Most of which are rather subjective."

"Yes I suppose they are," he said.

He turned to look at her.

"So," she says slowly, as though he may be having trouble understanding her, "I'm distinctly unqualified to answer that question for you."

"And why is that?" he asked.

[ps_you_look_hot]

She rolls her eyes. "Because I am not you. Hence the subjective part."

She eyes him for a moment. "If you really must have a suggestion, try the haggis. And a pina colada"

He doesn't move or carry himself like Druitt, but he does look like Druitt, and it amuses her to think of Druitt having to drink a pina colada...and have haggis.

He bared his teeth like he would have if he were a Wraith.

"How do I know you are not trying to trick me?"

Of course just because he can be human for a day doesn't mean he's going to trust them.

There's not an eyeroll this time, but there is a perfectly arched eyebrow. "If you didn't intend to trust my opinion, then why did you ask for it?"

He smiled nastily.

"Because then you weren't hiding anything."

Wraith do have some Telepathic abilities. They usually only work best on each other, but some can tell when people are being less than truthful.

"On the contrary," Nikola says snidely. "I'm always hiding something."

Todd may generally be able to tell when people are being less than truthful, but Nikola is a very accomplished liar. She's even fooled James a time or two.

"How is the tea?" he asked, "I have seen many drinking that here."

Nikola sips her bourbon slowly.

"I really don't see why you persist in asking me if you've already determined I can't be trusted."

He growled in his throat and suddenly stopped. He sounded horrible.

"I am not sure I like being human," he muttered.

"I thought that tea would be safe," he said.

"Then, by all means, order the tea. But don't ask for an opinion if you're not going to listen to it."

He shrugged.

Nikola rolls her eyes again and turns her attention back to her bourbon.

Maybe he really is Druitt. He's obnoxious and irrational enough.
