Ruin steps up behind Jason, smirking.

"That isn't a worry stone, Jason," he murmurs. "And even if it was, I don't think it would help much with your worries."

Something flashes behind Jason's eyes, and his hand tightens over the stone.

He doesn't bother responding to the assumption of his troubles.

"You know, it doesn't particularly make me feel good," he admits, "but you might want to make it clear to her that that's all it is before she does something she'll regret in the near future. My sister is not fickle with her affections. She doesn't just spread her legs for every shifter who smiles at her."
