In a dusty, darkened corner of the bar, one might just discern a flash of red winter coat

Coreen notices a woman wrapped up in a coat, and brings a stray blanket over off one of the couches.

"You look chilled."

[buriedmybrother]

Antigone smiles, faintly.

"You're very kind. I'm often cold here."

[coreenfennel]

"It does get chilly in here some. But, I've got a special kind of body warmer." She says, and pats her expanding baby bump.

"I'm Coreen."

[buriedmybrother]

She blinks.

And focuses vaguely on Coreen's belly.

I wished for a son once.

But these things mean very little in the fields of the dead, and so in the end Antigone just nods.

"Antigone."

[coreenfennel]

"Ah." She sounds as if that means a great deal to her. Grecian tales have always fascinated her.

"Would you like company, or should I leave you?"

[buriedmybrother]

"Oh-- if you like."

Everything about her is a little distant now.

It comes of being so long underground.

[coreenfennel]

She takes the seat across from Antigone.

"Is there anything else I can get for you?" She says, worry on her face. Coreen...is a worrier. She also really likes to help people.

[buriedmybrother]

Antigone blinks.

"No."

She doesn't need very much, these days.

There is probably something about conversation she's supposed to be remembering right now. But time is tricky for those who have passed on.

[coreenfennel]

"O...kay."

Coreen looks a little confused, but goes quiet. Her hand rests on her belly.

[buriedmybrother]

It's a little longer than is comfortable before she speaks.

(Antigone doesn't notice.)

"Is it a boy?"

[coreenfennel]

"Yes."

A baby boy...Milliways style.

Coreen is getting used to people being on their own tracks...she's not bothered.

[buriedmybrother]

"That's nice."

She smiles; it is nice.

"What will you name him?"

[coreenfennel]

She smiles back.

"We haven't decided on a name yet. Still have a little bit of time to go, and we're still looking into ideas."

[buriedmybrother]

"The names in my family aren't in fashion anymore."

Not that they were terribly common back when she was alive.

"And I don't remember many of the people I met here."

[coreenfennel]

"I think your name is pretty. I've always liked seeing it, and saying it."

She smiles.

"I can barely keep track myself of everyone I meet."

Antigone snorts softly.

"But you can't name a child Antigone if it's to be a boy. They'd all make fun."
