Charlie has a deck of Tarot cards.
He's currently sorting them by suit into stacks on the table, glancing at the book next to his elbow on the Tarot and what they mean, how to read them. He's not planning on taking it up as a hobby, but figures if he's going to be talking to at least two of them on a regular basis, he should know what the cards at least mean.
Being prepared is half the solution.
