There's a hand on Nathaniel's head offering scritches despite the fact that he's still in human form. It's a short scritch though as she settles herself on the arm of the couch, head tilted just slightly.

"How you fairing, Kitten?"

"I'm managing."

He smiles up at her, appreciating the scritches.

"Just... tired."

She shifts a little closer so that she can reach and continue the scritces a little. Yrael's taught her well?

"Not sleeping well?"

"No."

It's good Yrael taught her, because Nathaniel is melting.

"Maybe it'll get better."

Makes all the better for a relaxed Nathaniel.

"The newness of the place keeping you up or the company you're currently sleeping next to?" Because depending, she might be able to offer help if he's willing to take it.

"Both?"

Nathaniel sighs.

"I want to feel safe, even with him wrapped around me, but I don't."

Liz sighs herself.

"Donno how to fix that without fixing Jason right now." And that was going to take time. "The only solution I can think of right now is if you want you can join me in my bed. Or see if Jason would mind me joining you both." Puppy/kitty piles were better with more people, right?

Piles were always better with more people.

Maybe they could get the lovely goddess of fertility to join them?

"I'll ask Jason. The more the better."

He's not sure Jason'll agree, but he decides he might as well ask.

Means more warmthtouchcomfort in general.

It's always worth a shot, though a fertility goddess in the bed might not always lead to sleep...

"Just let me know. I'd be more than happy to join you, as it'd also mean I wouldn't have to sleep alone."

With Jason's moods recently, there's no real way of knowing his answer. If it was the Jason before Khem disappeared, Liz might not have bothered trying to ask and just joined, but he's changed a little.

Release of any kind -- be it sleep or otherwise -- would be welcomed by Nathaniel as it would be something he understood.

"I'll find out." He grins. "I'll tie him up if I have to."

All he has to do is ask and Liz would be more than happy to accommodate. Any of his needs. But it is something he'd have to hint at at least before she'd catch it.

Liz gives a soft snort of amusement. "Donno. He might like that a little too much."

Ah, and therein lies the problem.

Nathaniel still can't ask.

He laughs. "Right now? I'm not so sure he would."

Liz is still new at the whole being a better Pard member and doesn't want to take advantage so she's toeing lines right now still.

Which means it might be a while. Or if he takes her up on the sleeping in her room one night, they might just fall into it.

There's a raised brow and a smirk. "Depends on how you tied him up and what else was going on." Because situation is sometimes key.

Nathaniel snorts.

"Very true. Maybe we should try it soon? It might help him sleep."

There may be the slightest 'cat that ate the canary' smirk. She did just play with the wolf last night.

"I think I can be easily asked to help."

"You mean I won't have to beg?" he almost pouts.
