It was growing late, and Kate would be heading back out to the stables soon. But before she did, she wanted to grab a bite to eat and check for any notes she might have.
As she passed the message board, she caught sight of something that made her pretty mouth turn down into a frown. She thought about Gracie, and the way she had treated her-and Kate Warner-the last time they had met.
Settling on a stool, she politely addressed the Bar:
"Miss Bar? When was the last time anybody's seen Boo? And-" She stretched her back, appearing nearly catlike in the process, "-you got any brochures or somethin' on what kinda rooms I could get 'round this place?"
A small stack of colorfully printed pamphlets popped up, along with a note:
'I haven't seen her.
Kate Warner's been inquiring, too.

"Thanks."
She has a bad feeling about this. Someone should come distract her.
