Exit Post
Sunshine was outside to meet the dawn today, having been driven, stumbling, from her bed with the usual nightmares at her heels. Luckily for her, the day was to be bright and cloudless, a pristine spring day: cool in the shade, warm in the sun with a slight breeze to keep the warmth from becoming uncomfortable.
She had spent the whole morning out there, lying on a large rock by the lakeshore where she wouldn't have to worry about moving to avoid shadows as the day progressed. Only after the sun had begun it descent from its zenith did she re-wrap her wound and come in.
But something made her stop, just inside the lake door. There was another door in the bar. One where there hadn't been, before. One where she had arrived.
People she passes may hear her muttering curses and uncharitable remarks regarding the bar's Landlord. There is no way she's going to miss this opportunity.
The door opens under her hand, with a quiet click as it closes behind her.
