[OOM: Gordon had a Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day once.
Yesterday, it had some competition.]
When Gordon finally came in from walking the lake last night and went upstairs, he found his note to Alyx about going outside undisturbed on the bed. More importantly, he found the bed undisturbed as a whole. This... didn't surprise him, all things considered, but it still wasn't something he much wanted to face. He did his sanitary duties out of rote (it was cold out there, anyway, and the shower was warm), found something dry to wear, and headed downstairs instead.
He's been on one of the couches by the fire pretty much ever since. Some of that time was even spent sleeping, more or less. Right now, though, he's mostly just watching the fish in the flames.
