Inara's ending up here a lot lately, and so far she hasn't minded it. She wandered outside for a moment (to check out the Spring again. It's beautiful) before heading back in for a drink.
It's when she realizes she's standing two stools down from Saffron that she stops and stares.
"Saffron, after all the lāshĭ you put us through, we will never have a pleasant conversation." Inara pushes hair behind her ear. "I don't trust you. I never trusted you and I never will."
