The door opens, and in walks a young woman in a loose-fitting tank top and yoga pants. She looks around, and a moment of confusion creases her forehead. Echo doesn't remember this room, and none of the people look familiar. Then again, there's often things she doesn't remember, and everyone tells her that's okay

And the young woman is being watched by a young man. One that tends to stay more outside than in. But he's watching her. Watching how she's reacting to the place. The confusion... Manticore used to bring that kind of confusion. Then again...

"Hello?"

Not often the genetically empowered super soldier branches out; outside of his unit or Demeter.

"Hello!" she replies happily. "I was going to the pool, but now I'm here."

He's not sure he's heard someone that happy. Except for someone that was... yeah. "I don't think they have one of those here." Ben cants his head a bit, hazel eyes watching her. "They do have a lake here though."

"No. I don't see the pool here. It must be somewhere else."

He blinks. "Perhaps we should look for it?"

[echo_oche]

She cocks her head. "Do you want to swim, too?"

Cats didn't like water. In fact, they hated it. "Can swim too." Not like he's going to drown or be held under water.

Another bright grin that doesn't reach her eyes. "Okay!"

Echo walks past him, deeper into the bar, blindly trusting that he'll follow.

He's not normally one for blindly following someone. Not really. But he turns and follows her. "What's your name?" Might as well find that out.

She actually has to pause and think. "My name is Echo," she finally says. What people call you is your name, right?

He gives her a smile. "I'm Ben."

[echo_oche]

"I haven't been here before." For her, this is a perfectly rational response to that statement.

Ben blinks. He's a bit confused by that response. "It's Milliways."

"Oh." She's made it to the back door. "Maybe the pool is here."
