The door opens to admit a rather scruffy and overexcited mongrel dog, being chased by Adrian.

"Haven't you got me in enough trouble today?" he asks the dog when he catches up with it.

The dog wags its tail, then bounces off to introduce himself to everyone else in the room, with the teenager following for damage control.
