As she watches the bar, she might notice a petite blonde sitting at a table not too terribly far off. She seems to be pondering very seriously a cooling cup of coffee in her hands. She looks tired -- weary, in point of fact -- but active. Her eyes and fingers won't stay still, as if she's taking tally of something in her mind.
At a table not too far away is a young man -- somewhere in the neighborhood of twenty, though very self-possessed for it -- with a cup of coffee and a clown's half-mask, and no particular expression.
He's not watching her. With Trowa, this may or may not mean anything.
Teja, though, is not at his best yet; but Charlie has given him a blue pill from the future, so he walks up to Demeter without sniffles or sneezes, and with his step utterly steady.
