In practice, what she is doing is sitting at a tabel and watching the Window.

Surely she won't mind that her view is temporarily obstructed by a certain someone sitting down?

Because even if she does, it is going to happen - happening - happened.

"Evening."

"Evening," and she smiles at him. The obstruction of the view...well. She can see both sides to that.

"You seem well."

"Glad to be back."

A beat, and he nods at the things littering the table.

"No - real complications, then?"

"Getting it? No."

Beat, and she watches him for a moment.

"Information itself is...interesting."

He raises both eyebrows.

"Should I wait?"

[onlyneed1shot]

"You could..."

[ofgreatinterest]

"You've no preference?"

[onlyneed1shot]

"Well, if you want it now, you'll still have to wait until I've printed it off- but the office is just a few minutes down the hallway."

Not to mention that, at two in the morning, no one else is about.

He rubs his chin, and perhaps the fact that it is two in the morning is a little telling, because he looks - almost tired.

"I can wait that much."

She looks at him for a long moment.

"Would you like the summary?"

"Very much."

[onlyneed1shot]

"One of his junior partners is...either being investigated by Interpol, or is helping them. Maybe he knows, maybe he doesn't - but his wife just ran off with his lawyer. How much that would distract him, I don't know him well enough to judge."

She suspects that Dominic does.

"Distracted in the sense of emotionally devastated, no, distracted in the sense that he will at least try to intervene, yes."

A quick nod.

"Well, I have emails and things, which I'll give you tomorrow."
