Sink me! This a deuced fine spot you have, my good man! Well, if you would be so kind, a baron of beef, light on the gravy.

A baron of...right, just a moment. *ducks into the kitchen; distant voice can be heard* Oi, Gil, what the hell's a Baron of Beef?

*Emerging*

That'll just be a minute or two, sir.

Any time, sir, we're in no rush. Zounds, it's an uncommon damp night out there. One would think it was the dead of winter.

Margot, I don't this we will be able to go yachting tomorrow, if this weather keeps up we'll be indoors for a week. Lud, I'll miss my cricket match!

Lud, Sir Percy, you know very well that I don't care a fig whether we go yachting tomorrow, so long as we get to the Opera, Thurday night!

*hears a quiet dinging noise from the kitchen* That'll be it, I think....

*returns from the kitchen carrying a large platter of steak, dressed with potatoes, stuffing, and gravy*

Er...this is what we came up with. It's bound to be good; our cook is amazing.

Looks amazing, man. Demmed climate, this. Don't know what to make of the beastly weather...

Probably a passing storm; it was fine out when I was at the lake a few minutes ago. Still, we have rooms if you need to stay over.

Well, it couldn't hurt. What say you, m'Lady? Shall we spend the night at this excellent establishment?

Mais oui, Sir Percy. I've no objection to remaining in this charming place until the weather lifts. It is just as pleasant as the Fisherman's Rest and twice as much as the Chat Gris that you are so attached to...

Merci, m'sieur. For me, I will have fish, whatever you have available...

*realising these are not Fish And Chips People* I think we might have something poached, miss. *ducks into the kitchen and returns* Here we are. Poached trout and fresh new potatoes. Our Gil does like a challenge.

Black, Sirius Black. Sirius is fine. *smiles*

There's a rack by the door, or I can take it and put it by the oven for you, dry it off. *holds out a quesitoning hand*

Ah, oui!
*Sir Percy sweeps off her cape for her and hands it to Sirius*

M'sieur Sirius, you have a lovely place, I'm so glad we have found it...

And I'm sure we're glad to have you two taking shelter here. *carries the cape into the kitchen to hang-dry near the stove*
