There was a hug and kiss from behind. Her extra money would likely be getting donated to the fund here or charities back home. Likely both.

He turns around to give her longer kiss.

She glanced over his notices, and then pointed out some of the equations, explaining, "Ok, here, you carry this two over, not one. See? And I don't think that subtraction's right. There's a trick when you have a zero as a digit. You have to subtract from the next one over, and then make that zero a nine."
